Andrei Fințescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Costescu having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrei Fințescu made a kick off. In the last second Florin Macrea throw himself and got hold of the ball when Valer Suciu in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sorin Iliescu took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florin Macrea. Florin Macrea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gelu Costescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Fințescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Valer Suciu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florin Macrea. The goal made the score 1-3. Florin Macrea was a little too slow when Radu Mușetescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-4. Valer Suciu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florin Macrea came out and tried to block the shot, but Valer Suciu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 86th minute. ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Sorin Iliescu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florin Macrea was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Valer Suciu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valer Suciu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
