Ofsenita CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Bistreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Macrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ofsenita CSS's Tiberiu Gheție got his second yellow card of the match in the 7th minute. The referee ordered Tiberiu Gheție off the ground. Tiberiu Gheție hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ofsenita CSS's Doru Aanicăi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Fințescu in the 15th minute of play. When Flavius Jucu came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ofsenita CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavius Jucu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Gelu Beligan managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC MILAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelu Beligan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doru Aanicăi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavius Jucu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Andrei Fințescu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Fințescu in the 30th minute of play forced Ofsenita CSS's goalkeeper Doru Aanicăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ofsenita CSS booed when AC MILAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Chiuzbaian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucian Cocârlă's late challenge caught a Ofsenita CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucian Cocârlă helped the player get up and apologised. Lucian Cocârlă kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Andrei Fințescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Jucu in the 45th minute of play forced AC MILAN's goalkeeper Florin Macrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doru Aanicăi made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Lucian Cocârlă sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrei Fințescu to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Ofsenita CSS defense, Gelu Beligan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doru Aanicăi. The Ofsenita CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doru Aanicăi should have stopped the shot. Andrei Fințescu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Doru Aanicăi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC MILAN. Doru Aanicăi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Beligan in the 72nd minute of play. Gelu Beligan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doru Aanicăi having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavius Jucu got free with Florin Macrea in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavius Jucu struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Florin Macrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ofsenita CSS. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavius Jucu during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flavius Jucu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ofsenita CSS's Flavius Jucu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florin Macrea. That made the score 1-1 after 92 minutes of play. Flavius Jucu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Macrea having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
