Atletico Textila's Tiberiu Nedelcea suffered a sore thigh after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 7 minutes into the game, Radu Mușetescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Textila the free kick. Atletico Textila made a substitution. Felix Dumitrescu replaced Tiberiu Nedelcea. A collision led to ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Radu Mușetescu hit a great ball. Sandu Hosu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gavril Botescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Silviu Gliga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Textila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silviu Gliga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Radu Mușetescu got a free kick in the 26th minute. Vali Dichiseanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Silviu Gliga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Textila's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviu Gliga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Costescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Atletico Textila's Costel Bobocea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Costel Bobocea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atletico Textila protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Costel Bobocea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 32 minutes into the game, one of Atletico Textila:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Aurel Șora got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gavril Botescu. Felix Dumitrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's zone, Felix Dumitrescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gelu Costescu came out of the goal and Felix Dumitrescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doru Ciocârlan to make the kick off. When Doru Ciocârlan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Atletico Textila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doru Ciocârlan couldn't finish the play. ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Gelu Costescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Bărboianu in the 55th minute of play. Felix Dumitrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Doru Ciocârlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pompiliu Baldovinescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gelu Costescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pompiliu Baldovinescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosmin Bărboianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Costescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Ciocârlan in the 72nd minute of play forced ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's goalkeeper Gelu Costescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Felix Dumitrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Sorin Iliescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavril Botescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gavril Botescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valer Suciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Doru Ciocârlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute Sorin Iliescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Botescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doru Ciocârlan struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gelu Costescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Textila. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Iliescu in the 86th minute of play forced Atletico Textila's goalkeeper Gavril Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Vali Dichiseanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
