The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Narcis Georgescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Răuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC H2 GALATI's Dumitru Nițoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Otețea in the 20th minute of play. Albert Răuțu scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Hurezeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Florin Amitroaiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Răuțu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Gabriel Huștea made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gabriel Huștea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Otețea in the 53rd minute of play forced FC H2 GALATI's goalkeeper Dumitru Nițoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Viorel Otețea came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Otețea couldn't finish the play. Albert Răuțu took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Hurezeanu. Ernest Hurezeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Viorel Otețea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
