When Melik Adanır came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Mielusei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melik Adanır couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Mielusei's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Fințescu came free, but Roberto Albizua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC MILAN's Gelu Beligan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 12 minutes in the game, fortunately Roberto Albizua had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Mielusei's Codruț Iuonaș got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Manole Pipirig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Andrei Fințescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Albizua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mielusei's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horaţiu Pătrașcu was slow to take the kick. During this time AC MILAN's players had a chance to rest. Ştefan Tolea made a great header on AC MILAN's corner, it was just that Mielusei's Roberto Albizua managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, AC MILAN's Aristide Pașcalău got a free kick in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, AC MILAN's goal looked a bit too open when Melik Adanır came free, but Florin Macrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costin Zdrobiş kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Mielusei's Roberto Albizua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mielusei from getting a goal against them. If Melik Adanır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, AC MILAN's goal looked a bit too open when Melik Adanır came free, but Florin Macrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Macrea came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Mielusei's Melik Adanır. But to his dismay, Melik Adanır quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 48 minutes into the match, AC MILAN's goal looked a bit too open when Melik Adanır came free, but Florin Macrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrei Fințescu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Codruț Iuonaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Melik Adanır managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mielusei's supporters rose to their feet, but Melik Adanır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Macrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Melik Adanır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Codruț Iuonaș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Florin Macrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AC MILAN's Florin Macrea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save AC MILAN from getting a goal against them. The supporters of AC MILAN booed when Mielusei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Zdrobiş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Albizua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Fințescu in the 73rd minute of the match. If Melik Adanır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in AC MILAN's zone, Codruț Iuonaș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Macrea came out of the goal and Codruț Iuonaș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Codruț Iuonaș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florin Macrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. AC MILAN's Florin Macrea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save AC MILAN from getting a goal against them. Melik Adanır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristinel Antipa charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristinel Antipa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andrei Fințescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Melik Adanır dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florin Macrea, 0-4. Mielusei played a much better game than AC MILAN and deserved their victory. The AC MILAN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
