Mircea Negreanu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Sandu Hosu's late challenge caught a Tibucani FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandu Hosu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sandu Hosu hit a great ball. Leonard Ilica scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gelu Costescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Vlad Alexandrescu threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valer Suciu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sorin Iliescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Alexandrescu having to interfere. When Tibucani FC's Leonard Ilica in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A nice corner shot did that Mircea Negreanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gelu Costescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gelu Costescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Ilica, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Tibucani FC's Paul Dinu got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valer Suciu made a kick off. Paul Dinu succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's zone, Paul Dinu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gelu Costescu came out of the goal and Paul Dinu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Gabriel Stanca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tibucani FC the free kick. Gelu Costescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mircea Negreanu. Gelu Costescu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tibucani FC's Paul Dinu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Leonard Ilica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Gelu Costescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Irinel Furdui got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Paul Dinu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tibucani FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Dinu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Costescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tibucani FC's Leonard Ilica was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 90 minutes into the match, ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Dinu came free, but Gelu Costescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
