After having played for 9 minutes, Albert Răuțu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC H2 GALATI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Răuțu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Călin Vancea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC H2 GALATI the free kick. After a rather tough play, ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's Călin Vancea got a free kick in the 10th minute. Albert Răuțu took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gelu Costescu. Gelu Costescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sorin Iliescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dumitru Nițoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valer Suciu's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Sorin Iliescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Nițoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Panin to maneuver through the defense. Rareș Dulfu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Costescu having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, FC H2 GALATI's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Suciu came free, but Dumitru Nițoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sorin Iliescu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Dumitru Nițoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau. Dumitru Nițoi was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Valer Suciu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valer Suciu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rareș Dulfu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, ⋆CB⋆FC.Rapid Nerau's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Dulfu came free, but Gelu Costescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Albert Răuțu came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC H2 GALATI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Răuțu couldn't finish the play. Rareș Dulfu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gelu Costescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Răuțu scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gelu Costescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valer Suciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dumitru Nițoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Aron Orghidan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dumitru Nițoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Iliescu in the 73rd minute of the match. If Sorin Iliescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Suciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Nițoi having to interfere.
