Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. FK MERCEDES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Draghia the free kick. Liviu Enciu hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Draghia's Costel Petriceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionel Rădoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK MERCEDES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valentin Stroia was slow to take the kick. During this time Draghia's players had a chance to rest. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK MERCEDES's goalkeeper Ionel Rădoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nistor Andrițoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Rădoi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Petriceanu in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Rădoi saved FK MERCEDES from getting behind. After 22 played minutes Draghia got a freekick which was hit by Valer Mereacre. After 24 played minutes FK MERCEDES got a freekick which was hit by Robert Astafiei. A collision led to FK MERCEDES getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mihăiţă Jumancă hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Draghia's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Toader came free, but Francisc Bântu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valer Mereacre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ionel Rădoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Draghia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Flintașu to maneuver through the defense. Francisc Bântu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Astafiei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Nistor Andrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Rădoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionel Rădoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nistor Andrițoiu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The FK MERCEDES players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Draghia were winning 1-2.

52 minutes into the match, Costel Petriceanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Rădoi. FK MERCEDES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costel Petriceanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Nistor Andrițoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ionel Rădoi made a huge save. If Gigel Olteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Draghia's Nistor Mocanu got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Nistor Andrițoiu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Draghia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nistor Andrițoiu couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Nistor Andrițoiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Rădoi. FK MERCEDES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nistor Andrițoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 71st match minute, FK MERCEDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Toader to maneuver through the defense. Ionel Rădoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Andrițoiu in the 73rd minute of the match. FK MERCEDES's Ionel Rădoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Andrițoiu in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Costel Petriceanu lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Ionel Rădoi. The FK MERCEDES fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Draghia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
