If Lucian Octavian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Răzvan Ghionescu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Marcu Suciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC ROMAN CLUB. Octav Nicolaescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Codruț Semeghin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octav Doinaș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dorin Bărbuceanu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. Dorin Bărbuceanu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Codruț Semeghin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Octavian, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Răzvan Ghionescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiberiu Stolnicu's late challenge caught a Temisoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiberiu Stolnicu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UFC ROMAN CLUB getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tiberiu Stolnicu hit a great ball. If Răzvan Ghionescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucian Octavian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcu Suciu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Răzvan Ghionescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. If Răzvan Ghionescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octav Nicolaescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcu Suciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Ghionescu in the 55th minute of play. Răzvan Ghionescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, UFC ROMAN CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Sucigan to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Stolnicu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcu Suciu. Temisoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Stolnicu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Temisoara's zone, Răzvan Ghionescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcu Suciu came out of the goal and Răzvan Ghionescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alin Sucigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Suciu having to interfere. Marcu Suciu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UFC ROMAN CLUB's Răzvan Ghionescu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Marcu Suciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Ghionescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Răzvan Ghionescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC ROMAN CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Ghionescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcu Suciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Răzvan Ghionescu struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. In the 93rd minute, Răzvan Ghionescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UFC ROMAN CLUB's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
