He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Temisoara reached it. George Alb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Alb in the 26th minute of play forced Temisoara's goalkeeper Marcu Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes, Lucian Octavian made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. No Name Team Baia Mare's Fabian Zamfira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Octav Nicolaescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fabian Zamfira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lucian Octavian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Stancu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Nicolaescu was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Octav Nicolaescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, George Alb managed to get in a good position for a shot. No Name Team Baia Mare's supporters rose to their feet, but George Alb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcu Suciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nicu Tâlvescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Marcu Suciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Tâlvescu in the 71st minute of the match. Octav Nicolaescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Zamfira having to interfere. Fabian Zamfira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Nicolaescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Octav Nicolaescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Zamfira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Octav Nicolaescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabian Zamfira. The goal made the score 0-2. Temisoara's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
