The Draghia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Francisc Bântu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Tâlvescu in the 10th minute of the match. Valer Mereacre hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Francisc Bântu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Tâlvescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Draghia's Costel Petriceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Zamfira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Flavius Vernescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisc Bântu. Draghia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavius Vernescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Nistor Andrițoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Valer Mereacre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fabian Zamfira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costel Petriceanu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 29th playminute. If George Alb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costel Petriceanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Zamfira came out and tried to block the shot, but Costel Petriceanu slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 35th minute. Nistor Andrițoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Andrițoiu got free with Fabian Zamfira in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Zamfira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costel Petriceanu in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Nistor Andrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Zamfira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Draghia's Nistor Andrițoiu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Nistor Andrițoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Zamfira having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nistor Andrițoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Petriceanu in the 52nd minute of play forced No Name Team Baia Mare's goalkeeper Fabian Zamfira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Petriceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fabian Zamfira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Costel Petriceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Zamfira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Zamfira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Petriceanu in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Draghia's Nistor Andrițoiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Zamfira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Nistor Andrițoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nistor Andrițoiu in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Zamfira saved No Name Team Baia Mare from getting behind. When Costel Petriceanu came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Draghia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Petriceanu couldn't finish the play. Fabian Zamfira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Andrițoiu in the 87th minute of the match. Costel Petriceanu struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Fabian Zamfira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Draghia. In the 91st minute Costel Petriceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Zamfira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Zamfira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Flintașu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Nistor Andrițoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
