Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Girdoaia's Valentin Cornoiu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Girdoaia's Eric Todericiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Bosioc in the 5th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Cehetel got a freekick which was hit by George Proca. Valentin Danciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Cornoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Eric Todericiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Bosioc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Dumitru Bosioc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eric Todericiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 played minutes Cehetel got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Agachi. After 20 played minutes FC Girdoaia got a freekick which was hit by Valer Cărtărescu. Maxim Fetea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Eric Todericiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, FC Girdoaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Nicolaescu to maneuver through the defense. Iustin Bărnuțiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eric Todericiu. FC Girdoaia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Eric Todericiu managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Cehetel's Maxim Fetea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st minute, Dumitru Honciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Bosioc in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Girdoaia's goalkeeper Eric Todericiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes FC Girdoaia got a freekick which was hit by Paul Pătrășconiu. Maxim Fetea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eric Todericiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Todericiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxim Fetea in the 42nd minute. When Maxim Fetea came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Cehetel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Fetea couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute Maxim Fetea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Todericiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dumitru Bosioc made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Maxim Fetea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cehetel's supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim Fetea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Todericiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maxim Fetea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Todericiu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumitru Bosioc during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Dumitru Bosioc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Danciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Cornoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dumitru Bosioc in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Todericiu saved FC Girdoaia from getting behind. In the 71st match minute, FC Girdoaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Pătrășconiu to maneuver through the defense. Cehetel's Iustin Bărnuțiu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Girdoaia. After 73 played minutes FC Girdoaia got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Honciu. Maxim Fetea struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Eric Todericiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cehetel. 76 minutes into the match, Dumitru Bosioc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Todericiu. FC Girdoaia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Bosioc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Maxim Fetea came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cehetel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Fetea couldn't finish the play. If Dumitru Bosioc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Cornoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Valentin Danciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dumitru Bosioc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Cehetel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
