Narcis Blajovici was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Emanuel Şerban capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Şerban really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Iurie Onofrei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, And Fc's Iurie Onofrei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Miron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grigore Tătăruşanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Narcis Blajovici made a huge save. Emanuel Şerban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Blajovici having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Grigore Tătăruşanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave And Fc the free kick. After 17 played minutes ATG got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Tătăruşanu. When Edgar Şania fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored And Fc's protests and gave Edgar Şania a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, And Fc's Edgar Şania got a free kick in the 21st minute. Iurie Onofrei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Victor Miron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Miron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Oroveanu in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Oroveanu in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Miron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. And Fc's Eugen Curtean got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Iurie Onofrei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mădălin Oroveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Victor Miron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Mădălin Oroveanu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ATG's Victor Miron. Victor Miron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octav Gârneț hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. George Dridu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

Iurie Onofrei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iurie Onofrei's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Victor Miron skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in ATG's zone, Iurie Onofrei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Miron came out of the goal and Iurie Onofrei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mădălin Oroveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Victor Miron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ATG booed when And Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Curtean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iurie Onofrei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, ATG's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Oroveanu came free, but Victor Miron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When And Fc's Iurie Onofrei, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for And Fc. In the 77th minute, Traian Tastaman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Şerban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Blajovici having to interfere. Narcis Blajovici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Şerban in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Emanuel Şerban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. And Fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
