When Emanuel Nișu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 53 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. Gelu Blaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Bîlbă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CFR Cluj's Gelu Blaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Spiridon in the 70th minute of play. When Olimpiu Durbacă was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. A collision led to CFR Cluj getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Olimpiu Durbacă hit a great ball.
