The supporters of Babarunca booed when Mehadia CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Calciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iustinian Ichim to strike the kick off in the second half. Rareș Magheru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Călin having to interfere. Babarunca's Rareș Magheru suffered a sore foot after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Dumitru Burca fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mehadia CS's protests and gave Dumitru Burca a yellow card for diving instead. Narcis Protase struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ernest Călin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babarunca. 67 minutes into the match, Mehadia CS's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Protase came free, but Ernest Călin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Babarunca's attack was well implemented in the 68th minute, but when Narcis Protase was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ernest Călin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Protase in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Valentin Calciu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mehadia CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Babarunca the free kick. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Narcis Protase put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ernest Călin. Ernest Călin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Protase in the 79th minute of play. Narcis Protase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Babarunca's Narcis Protase nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernest Călin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Petre Bouleanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Mehadia CS booed when Babarunca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Cârnu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Babarunca had won after a very even match.
