Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ilie Vlaicu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Dan Mandache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Alucai in the 14th minute of play forced Mehadia CS's goalkeeper Ernest Călin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mehadia CS defense, Pompiliu Alucai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Călin. The Mehadia CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Călin should have stopped the shot. After 21 minutes, Ilie Vlaicu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ujfalu CS's Dan Mandache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ujfalu CS's Adam Pintilie got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Alucai in the 29th minute of play forced Mehadia CS's goalkeeper Ernest Călin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Alucai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Călin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Pintilie in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Călin saved Mehadia CS from getting behind. Ernest Călin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Alucai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Pintilie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Călin having to interfere. When Pompiliu Alucai got free in front of the goal in the 40th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ernest Călin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Adam Pintilie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernest Călin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pompiliu Alucai's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Ferdinand Şoimu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Călin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

51 minutes into the match, Mehadia CS's goalkeeper Ernest Călin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Pintilie. Ujfalu CS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mihai Ciorogaru in the 54th minute. When Ilie Vlaicu fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mehadia CS's protests and gave Ilie Vlaicu a yellow card for diving instead. Ilie Vlaicu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Ujfalu CS got a freekick which was hit by Filip Mihaiu. Dan Mandache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Ichim, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Pompiliu Alucai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ernest Călin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Călin came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ujfalu CS's Adam Pintilie. But to his dismay, Adam Pintilie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Pompiliu Alucai came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ujfalu CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pompiliu Alucai couldn't finish the play. Ujfalu CS's Adam Pintilie got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Chirculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Adam Pintilie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ujfalu CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Pintilie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Mehadia CS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adam Pintilie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ernest Călin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Alucai in the 91st minute of play. Ujfalu CS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
