Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iustinian Ichim kicked off to start the match. The supporters of BlueLabel booed when Mehadia CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Burca didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasile Săvescu in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Călin saved Mehadia CS from getting behind. After 24 played minutes, BlueLabel's Cristi Bucuță shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernest Călin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BlueLabel reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Mehadia CS's zone, Petre Răica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Călin came out of the goal and Petre Răica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernest Călin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Săvescu in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, BlueLabel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Stana to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Săvescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mehadia CS getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Valentin Calciu hit a great ball. Ilie Vlaicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrei Agudin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Mehadia CS's Ilie Vlaicu got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Chirculescu's late challenge caught a BlueLabel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Chirculescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Mehadia CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Chirculescu to maneuver through the defense. Petre Răica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vasile Săvescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasile Săvescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ilie Vlaicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Agudin having to interfere. Ernest Călin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Săvescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Răica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, BlueLabel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ilie Vlaicu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 75th minute Ilie Vlaicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Agudin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Robert Stana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BlueLabel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mehadia CS the free kick. Mehadia CS's Iustinian Ichim got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Vasile Săvescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Călin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Răica in the 80th minute of play forced Mehadia CS's goalkeeper Ernest Călin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Vasile Săvescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Călin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Vlaicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehadia CS's Iustinian Ichim got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilie Vlaicu during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
