Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ion Iftimescu got the match started through his kick off. If Andrei Crușeveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucian Uncu charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucian Uncu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SPARTANII getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lucian Uncu hit a great ball. Aurelian Tadici who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Gheorghe Piț when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Șerban Poalelungi got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Borsanii booed when SPARTANII was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Poalelungi didn't get a good kick on the ball. SPARTANII's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borsanii the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of SPARTANII:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Borsanii:s goal. When Ion Iftimescu fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPARTANII's protests and gave Ion Iftimescu a yellow card for diving instead. Ion Iftimescu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. A very nice done corner allowed Andrei Crușeveanu to score against Gheorghe Piț in SPARTANII's goal. 3-0 after 50 minutes. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Gheorghe Piț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Tadici in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Borsanii's Andrei Crușeveanu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Remus Ponta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Andrei Crușeveanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gheorghe Piț was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Gheorghe Vădan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Crușeveanu couldn't finish the play. Andrei Crușeveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Piț having to interfere. Lucian Uncu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Crușeveanu in the 92nd minute of play forced SPARTANII's goalkeeper Gheorghe Piț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
