Spectators: 7400 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 50) Martonfalva CS's Paul Chifu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Andrei Crușeveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsanii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Crușeveanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Iustinian Băieșu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borsanii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martonfalva CS the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Borsanii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustinian Băieșu to maneuver through the defense. Paul Eftimiu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Paul Dărmănescu. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 14th minute. Paul Dărmănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Chifu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 19th minute, Remus Ponta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Dărmănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Chifu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelian Tadici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Cioculescu having to interfere. If Aurelian Tadici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, one of Martonfalva CS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Borsanii. Iustinian Băieșu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iulian Cioculescu. 1-1. If Aurelian Tadici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martonfalva CS's Iulian Cioculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Crușeveanu in the 41st minute of play. Iulian Cioculescu came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Borsanii's Andrei Crușeveanu. But to his dismay, Andrei Crușeveanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Borsanii were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrei Crușeveanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Borsanii booed when Martonfalva CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Ganea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Crușeveanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iulian Cioculescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Iulian Cioculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Tadici in the 61st minute. Aurelian Tadici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Cioculescu having to interfere. Martonfalva CS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andrei Crușeveanu 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Aurelian Tadici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 69 minutes, Andrei Crușeveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borsanii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Crușeveanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Martonfalva CS. Gheorghe Cernea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paul Dărmănescu. 2-3. After some careless play in the Martonfalva CS defense, Aurelian Tadici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iulian Cioculescu. The Martonfalva CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iulian Cioculescu should have stopped the shot. Iulian Cioculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Tadici in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Borsanii's Andrei Crușeveanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iulian Cioculescu. Iulian Cioculescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. The Borsanii fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Borsanii's Andrei Crușeveanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Martonfalva CS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Borsanii were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
