Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Petrică Ungheanu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Iulian Corbeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doru Zaharia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Buzincu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Cirligi CF got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Buzincu. Ovidiu Buzincu scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doru Zaharia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Ilie Logofeteanu made a precise shot to the right of Doru Zaharia. Stignita AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 19th play minutes Ovidiu Buzincu shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Doru Zaharia and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Iulian Corbeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cirligi CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Corbeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doru Zaharia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petrică Ungheanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Zaharia having to interfere. Doru Zaharia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Corbeanu in the 33rd minute of the match. Petrică Ungheanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doru Zaharia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Pârlog in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Iulian Corbeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Zaharia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Iulian Corbeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cirligi CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Petrică Ungheanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petrică Ungheanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eric Macovescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ovidiu Buzincu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, one of Stignita AC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Doru Zaharia, was totally fooled by Cirligi CF's Stelian Rânceanu, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Stignita AC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eric Macovescu hit a great ball. Cirligi CF's Stelian Rânceanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stignita AC. With a little luck, Stignita AC's Doru Zaharia got control of the ball when Iulian Corbeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Stignita AC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aurelian Ortacu hit a great ball. Petrică Ungheanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Iulian Corbeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cirligi CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Corbeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iulian Corbeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Doru Zaharia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Petrică Ungheanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 85 in the game by Iulian Corbeanu from a close distance when the talented Doru Zaharia managed to make a qualified save. Stignita AC's players were relieved. In the 91st minute, Petrică Ungheanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doru Zaharia was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Victor Pârlog capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Pârlog really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Iulian Corbeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petrică Ungheanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doru Zaharia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. When the match was over Cirligi CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stignita AC throughout the match.
