In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stignita AC's goalkeeper Doru Zaharia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferdinand Creteanu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stignita AC's zone, Costin Milcoveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Zaharia came out of the goal and Costin Milcoveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Milcoveanu in the 9th minute of play forced Stignita AC's goalkeeper Doru Zaharia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doru Zaharia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Văidianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Augustin Blaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustin Blaj struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Doru Zaharia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Craidorolt UFC. In the 22nd minute of the match, Costin Milcoveanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Doru Zaharia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Augustin Blaj who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Doru Zaharia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Craidorolt UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Milcoveanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doru Zaharia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augustin Blaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costin Milcoveanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Costin Milcoveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 played minutes Stignita AC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Stoicănescu. If Augustin Blaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eric Macovescu fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stignita AC's protests and gave Eric Macovescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Stignita AC's Eric Macovescu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Augustin Blaj had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doru Zaharia. Stignita AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Blaj was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ferdinand Creteanu charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Creteanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Stignita AC's Ferdinand Creteanu got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 67th play minutes Augustin Blaj shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Doru Zaharia and just under the crossbar into goal. Doru Zaharia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Blaj in the 71st minute of the match. Doru Zaharia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augustin Blaj went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.
