The Cirligi CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Dumitru should have stopped the shot.

Ştefan Pârlog succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugurel Mihu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Dumitru saved Cirligi CF from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugurel Mihu in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horea Dumitru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Pârlog during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Pancota got a freekick which was hit by Robert Ghețea. In the 67th minute, Iulian Corbeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cirligi CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 70th minute, Petrică Ungheanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Nicolae was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After 76 played minutes Cirligi CF got a freekick which was hit by Victor Pârlog. If Ştefan Pârlog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. After 85 played minutes, Cirligi CF's Stelian Rânceanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Nicolae came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Daniel Nicolae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrică Ungheanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Robert Ghețea was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 90th match minute, Pancota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Ghețea to maneuver through the defense. Filip Spineanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Dumitru having to interfere. Cirligi CF's Victor Pârlog got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Victor Pârlog off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cirligi CF's Victor Pârlog got a free kick in the 98th minute. Pancota's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
