The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Cartianu got free with Eduard Pătrașcu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, BORSA -MM-'s Ionică Mailat got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicodim Movileanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marian Buta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Oniga having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BORSA -MM-'s zone, Calistrat Chiriac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Oniga came out of the goal and Calistrat Chiriac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Movilele's Marius Pătrașcu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ştefan Oncescu, made in the 58th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in BORSA -MM-'s zone, Marian Buta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Oniga came out of the goal and Marian Buta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, BORSA -MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matei Păun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Marian Buta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Pătrașcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Chivu in the 65th minute of the match. When Sabin Diaconescu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. Movilele's Sebastian Pătrașcu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BORSA -MM-'s Remus Oniga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save BORSA -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Octavian Buligan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Movilele getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Matei Păun hit a great ball. Stelian Chirea charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stelian Chirea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
