In the 24th minute Ferdinand Cutieru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Martinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlasinesti AFC's Nichifor Muntean got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Moş Gerilă's zone, Nichifor Muntean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leontin Martinescu came out of the goal and Nichifor Muntean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodor Dragoș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Nicodim Vătafu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leontin Martinescu. After a defensive mix-up in Moş Gerilă's zone, Nicodim Vătafu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leontin Martinescu came out of the goal and Nicodim Vătafu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leontin Martinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Vătafu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nichifor Muntean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Leontin Martinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nicodim Vătafu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leontin Martinescu was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Florin Schiau made the kick off in the second half. Ionel Moscu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Ivan in the 52nd minute of play. When Nichifor Muntean came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Vlasinesti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nichifor Muntean couldn't finish the play. Adam Ivan kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodor Dragoș got free with Leontin Martinescu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Teodor Dragoș came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Vlasinesti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Dragoș couldn't finish the play. Nichifor Muntean might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leontin Martinescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nichifor Muntean ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicodim Vătafu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Receanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Moş Gerilă got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Miclauș. Nicodim Vătafu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Nichifor Muntean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leontin Martinescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Vlasinesti AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
