In the 18th minute, Irinel Porumboiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Rada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dumitru Buricea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Leontin Martinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Anton Huștea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moş Gerilă's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dya Bucuresti the free kick. Viorel Moșneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Schiau, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Florin Schiau struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Viorel Moșneanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moş Gerilă. FC Dya Bucuresti's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Florin Schiau 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Leontin Martinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Buricea in the 53rd minute of the match. Florin Schiau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Viorel Moșneanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Irinel Porumboiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Cârneci was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Florin Schiau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Viorel Moșneanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dumitru Buricea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes of play, Moş Gerilă's Florin Schiau made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viorel Moșneanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the match, Moş Gerilă's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Buricea came free, but Leontin Martinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Rada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Martinescu having to interfere. Leontin Martinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Buricea in the 81st minute of the match. Dumitru Buricea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Rada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leontin Martinescu having to make a save. After 86 minutes, Cristian Vintilescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moş Gerilă and the FC Dya Bucuresti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Vintilescu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Valentin Rada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
