After a rather tough play, FC Wolverine-Stiinta-'s Costel Melinte got a free kick in the 15th minute. Iosif Răduleț kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Leontin Martinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Spânu in the 19th minute of the match. FC Wolverine-Stiinta-'s Vasile Daria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Wolverine-Stiinta- from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes FC Wolverine-Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Ghișe. Costel Melinte's late challenge caught a Moş Gerilă's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costel Melinte helped the player get up and apologised. 26 minutes into the match, Moş Gerilă's Ferdinand Cârneci broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vasile Daria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Schiau in the 28th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Adam Ivan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Florin Fărcășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Schiau struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Vasile Daria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moş Gerilă. Vasile Daria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Schiau, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Florin Schiau made the kick off in the second half. Florin Schiau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Daria having to interfere. In the 54th minute Florin Schiau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasile Daria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicodim Spânu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Martinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodim Spânu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Nicodim Spânu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wolverine-Stiinta-'s zone, Adam Ivan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasile Daria came out of the goal and Adam Ivan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florin Schiau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Nicodim Spânu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leontin Martinescu, passed just outside the right post.
