Spectators: 7633 (Terracing: 5726, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 152) Movilele's Marian Buta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Vlasinesti AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Teodor Dragoș hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Movilele got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Tănasă. Movilele's Marian Buta got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Movilele's zone, Teodor Dragoș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduard Pătrașcu came out of the goal and Teodor Dragoș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nichifor Muntean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Nicodim Vătafu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduard Pătrașcu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Movilele booed when Vlasinesti AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Vătafu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basarab Răchitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eduard Pătrașcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Vlasinesti AFC's Teodor Dragoș made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduard Pătrașcu was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nichifor Muntean to make the kick off. Movilele's attentive Marius Pătrașcu managed to snatch the ball when Ionel Capisizu made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. In the 58th match minute, Vlasinesti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Dragoș to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Marian Buta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Moscu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panait Floroiu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Nicodim Vătafu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Pătrașcu having to interfere. Ionel Moscu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Buta, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Vlasinesti AFC's Teodor Dragoș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduard Pătrașcu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Vlasinesti AFC booed when Movilele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Chiriac didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Movilele's Eduard Pătrașcu got control of the ball when Nicodim Vătafu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Dragoș in the 92nd minute of play forced Movilele's goalkeeper Eduard Pătrașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduard Pătrașcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Muntean in the 93rd minute of play. Franco Nero kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Teodor Dragoș sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Movilele's Eduard Pătrașcu didn't even have to move. Vlasinesti AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
