Viorel Moromete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4th minute Viorel Moromete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Zăvoianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dacian Ciobanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandru Zăvoianu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dacian Ciobanu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Moromete in the 7th minute of play forced P.S.C. JAX PASCANI's goalkeeper Alexandru Zăvoianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandru Zăvoianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Moromete's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Dacian Caciulescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Alexandru Zăvoianu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Filip Berevoescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Biscan! In the 22nd minute Horia Tudose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Durbac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dacian Ciobanu took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandru Zăvoianu. Alexandru Zăvoianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Flavius Tiberiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dacian Caciulescu struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Alexandru Zăvoianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biscan. Isac Oncescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alexandru Zăvoianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandru Zăvoianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Oncescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Alexandru Zăvoianu made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Dacian Caciulescu sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Isac Oncescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biscan's supporters rose to their feet, but Isac Oncescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandru Zăvoianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dacian Caciulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Alexandru Zăvoianu made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Biscan's Isac Oncescu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dacian Caciulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dacian Caciulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biscan's supporters rose to their feet, but Dacian Caciulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandru Zăvoianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in P.S.C. JAX PASCANI's zone, Isac Oncescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandru Zăvoianu came out of the goal and Isac Oncescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Isac Oncescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandru Zăvoianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dacian Ciobanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Isac Oncescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandru Zăvoianu was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Biscan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Oncescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristi Dumitrana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Biscan lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
