Dacian Ciobanu in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tudor Irimescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 5th minute, Viorel Moromete reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tudor Irimescu. The goal made the score 1-0. After 8 minutes, Ciprian Onea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petrolul Moinesti and the Biscan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciprian Onea hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Horaţiu Melinescu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 10 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 11th minute, Viorel Moromete fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dacian Caciulescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Tudor Irimescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Petrolul Moinesti's Tudor Irimescu got control of the ball when Dacian Ciobanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match, Viorel Moromete tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tudor Irimescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viorel Moromete in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tudor Irimescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Biscan's Isac Oncescu in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Petrolul Moinesti's goalie prevented a goal. Alexandru Butuc hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Dacian Caciulescu struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tudor Irimescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biscan. A collision led to Petrolul Moinesti getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Augustin Geantă hit a great ball. Tudor Irimescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Moromete in the 30th minute of play. Tudor Irimescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isac Oncescu's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Biscan's Dacian Ciobanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tudor Irimescu. Tudor Irimescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Dacian Ciobanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Irimescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Oncescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viorel Moromete stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Dacian Ciobanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Dacian Ciobanu sped through Petrolul Moinesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tudor Irimescu. In the 64th minute Viorel Moromete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Irimescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isac Oncescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tudor Irimescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Irimescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Moromete, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Viorel Moromete came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Biscan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Moromete couldn't finish the play. If Isac Oncescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Irimescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Moromete in the 76th minute of the match. Viorel Moromete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Irimescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Caciulescu in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Dacian Caciulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tudor Irimescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tudor Irimescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Ciobanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dacian Ciobanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Petrolul Moinesti's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Caciulescu came free, but Tudor Irimescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Biscan were the better team. Biscan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
