Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferdinand Rânceanu kicked off to start the match. Bogdan Angheluș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Petruț Savin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petruț Savin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Angheluș in the 5th minute of the match. Costel Verzeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Petruț Savin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionică Tudor came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelian Popean could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Rânceanu in the 13th minute of play forced Garliste's goalkeeper Aurelian Popean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Sabin Vlădean in the 19th minute really tested Aurelian Popean's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Petru Buș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Verzeanu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petruț Savin saved Cotina from getting behind. After some careless play in the Cotina defense, Costel Verzeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petruț Savin. The Cotina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petruț Savin should have stopped the shot. Petruț Savin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Angheluș in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Garliste's Aurelian Popean got control of the ball when Ionică Tudor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petruț Savin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Angheluș in the 37th minute of the match. Costel Verzeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Savin having to interfere. Ionică Tudor kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Garliste's Bogdan Angheluș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petruț Savin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Cotina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garliste were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costel Verzeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Costel Verzeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Bogdan Angheluș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Savin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cotina's Petruț Savin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Cotina from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Cotina's zone, Costel Verzeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Savin came out of the goal and Costel Verzeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, Cotina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Vlădean to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Sever Oroian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionică Tudor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Aurelian Popean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Costel Verzeanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petruț Savin. Costel Verzeanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 90th minute, Cotina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ionuț Nicoliță fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 98 minutes, Petru Buș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garliste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Buș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garliste's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
