Lupeni FCM's Viorel Stroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Gavruță in the 6th minute of play. Ferdinand Trifan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Spârlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Leonard Roşca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ferdinand Trifan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Trifan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Corvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantin Corvin in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Trifan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Spârlea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Trifan having to interfere. Constantin Corvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantin Corvin struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ferdinand Trifan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupeni FCM. The FlyHighhh A.C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s Aron Verzea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Manuel Spârlea made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Valer Gavruță's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viorel Stroe was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Constantin Corvin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferdinand Trifan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Valer Gavruță came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FlyHighhh A.C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valer Gavruță couldn't finish the play. After 60 minutes, Traian Hojbota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FlyHighhh A.C.F. and the Lupeni FCM players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s Traian Hojbota got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Codruț Sărăroiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Trifan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 64 minutes, Dragoş Alamaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FlyHighhh A.C.F. and the Lupeni FCM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, FlyHighhh A.C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Alamaru to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Traian Hojbota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Lupeni FCM got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Spârlea. Valer Gavruță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Viorel Stroe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lucian Levința fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s protests and gave Lucian Levința a yellow card for diving instead. Aron Verzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Stroe having to interfere. With a little luck, FlyHighhh A.C.F.'s Ferdinand Trifan got control of the ball when Constantin Corvin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aron Verzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
