Ionică Tudor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Liviu Zbârlea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liviu Zbârlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Rânceanu in the 19th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Ferdinand Rânceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SCORPIONII's Liviu Zbârlea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Isac Dobrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Savin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Rânceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petruț Savin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Dănănae in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cotina's Petru Hortopan got a free kick in the 28th minute. Liviu Zbârlea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionică Tudor went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Ferdinand Rânceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionică Tudor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Ferdinand Rânceanu made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Cotina's Ferdinand Rânceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liviu Zbârlea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Ionică Tudor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Liviu Zbârlea. SCORPIONII's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionică Tudor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Ferdinand Rânceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Dobrițoiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petruț Savin having to make a save. Petru Hortopan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petruț Savin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. After having played for 81 minutes, Ferdinand Rânceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cotina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Rânceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, SCORPIONII's Cornel Dănănae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Savin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SCORPIONII's Liviu Zbârlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Tudor in the 84th minute of play. If Ionică Tudor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ionică Tudor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Liviu Zbârlea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cotina fully deserved thier win.
