Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Postelnicu started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Martin Enceanu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Giura's Rareș Zdrehuş. Rareș Zdrehuş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute Felix Postelnicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Vaştag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Enceanu struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Rareș Zdrehuş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otetelisul. A collision led to Giura getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Romeo Domnescu hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Martin Enceanu put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rareș Zdrehuş. After 30 played minutes Otetelisul got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Bistreanu. Martin Enceanu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rareș Zdrehuş. Rareș Zdrehuş dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Rareș Zdrehuş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Enceanu in the 38th minute of play. In the 48th minute Leontin Vintilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rareș Zdrehuş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Martin Enceanu sped through Giura's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rareș Zdrehuş. Leontin Vintilescu struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rareș Zdrehuş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otetelisul. With his leg Rareș Zdrehuş managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Otetelisul's Leontin Vintilescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leontin Vintilescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Rareș Zdrehuş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Enceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Giura's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Vintilescu came free, but Rareș Zdrehuş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Enceanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rareș Zdrehuş having to make a save. Leontin Vintilescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rareș Zdrehuş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Otetelisul's Rareș Zdrehuş threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leontin Vintilescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Otetelisul's Leontin Vintilescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rareș Zdrehuş. That made the score 0-7 after 80 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Codruț Bistreanu during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute of the match, Martin Enceanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rareș Zdrehuş was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
