In the 6th minute, Oğuz Tuyuğ ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergiu Vaştag was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 11th minute Mugurel Sărăroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Slătineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Otetelisul's Codruț Bistreanu got a free kick in the 13th minute. Emilian Fărcașus short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Sergiu Vaştag to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Codruț Bistreanu's late challenge caught a Hust SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Codruț Bistreanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Otetelisul got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Bistreanu. A collision led to Otetelisul getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Codruț Bistreanu hit a great ball. Martin Enceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Slătineanu having to interfere. Emilian Fărcașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Vaştag having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Oğuz Tuyuğ kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sergiu Vaştag. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Paul Slătineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Vintilescu in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Eusebiu Elefteriu's late challenge caught a Hust SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebiu Elefteriu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Otetelisul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Elefteriu to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Nechifor Coman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nechifor Coman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Paul Slătineanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otetelisul. 61 minutes into the match, Martin Enceanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Slătineanu. Hust SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Enceanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Martin Enceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Paul Slătineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Olimpiu Bucataru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Paul Slătineanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emilian Fărcașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Leontin Vintilescu fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Otetelisul's protests and gave Leontin Vintilescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Otetelisul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Vintilescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Emilian Fărcașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Vaştag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Vaştag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Fărcașu in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Emilian Fărcașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Vaştag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leontin Vintilescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Slătineanu having to interfere. Emilian Fărcașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Enceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilian Fărcașu in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Vaştag prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Hust SC's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Vintilescu came free, but Paul Slătineanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hust SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
