Iustinian Mureșan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Terzian, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Fotinu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Bobocea came free, but Iustinian Mureșan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Cosmin Terzian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iustinian Mureșan. Fotinu AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosmin Terzian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Fotinu AFC's Constantin Chițu got a free kick in the 19th minute. Iacob Bobocea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Iustinian Mureșan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Constantin Chițu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fotinu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Rewenirea 2017 the free kick. After 24 played minutes Fotinu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Chițu. The supporters of Fotinu AFC booed when FC Rewenirea 2017 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Bobocea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacob Bobocea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Grigoriu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Bărbuceanu having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match, Sebastian Grigoriu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dinu Bărbuceanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Viorel Gheordunescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 43rd playminute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cezar Onea didn't quite understand what happened when in the 59 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. FC Rewenirea 2017's Dinu Bărbuceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Gheordunescu in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, FC Rewenirea 2017's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Grigoriu came free, but Dinu Bărbuceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinu Bărbuceanu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fotinu AFC's Sebastian Grigoriu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute.
