Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Botea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. YBB ARENA's Petruț Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Dacian in the 87th minute of play. Cornel Botea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Tilea having to interfere. Petruț Tilea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornel Botea in the 94th minute. Petru Bornescu got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, YBB ARENA's Petru Bornescu got a free kick in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, U. Craiova's Laurențiu Atanasiu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match was over U. Craiova could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than YBB ARENA throughout the match.
