When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, F.C.NAZNACHENIYA's Claudiu Afloarei got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ion Ene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Tolea in the 10th minute of play forced F.C.NAZNACHENIYA's goalkeeper Gheorghe Teodorescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion Ene made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Marcu Niculiță sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Gigi Buculeasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ion Ene. Bubulina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigi Buculeasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costel Grozuță made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Costel Grozuță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bubulina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Costel Grozuță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gheorghe Teodorescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gheorghe Teodorescu came out of the goal and Mugurel Tolea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gheorghe Teodorescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Grozuță's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Grozuță in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gheorghe Teodorescu saved F.C.NAZNACHENIYA from getting behind. When Bubulina FC's Costel Grozuță in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C.NAZNACHENIYA's goalie prevented a goal. Constantin Pintilie's late challenge caught a F.C.NAZNACHENIYA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantin Pintilie helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Bubulina FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Pintilie. Gheorghe Teodorescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Grozuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Costel Grozuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gheorghe Teodorescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bubulina FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because F.C.NAZNACHENIYA had won, even though Bubulina FC had held more of the ball.
