Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gigi Papadache kicked off to start the match. Emanuel Gheban struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Mugur Valerian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petelea. Gigi Moarcăș received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornel Hațegan came out and tried to block the shot, but Gigi Moarcăș slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Mugur Valerian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Gheban in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Petelea booed when rozator was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Moarcăș didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes rozator got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Orădan. 32 minutes into the game, Narcis Orădan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornel Hațegan. Narcis Orădan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 35 played minutes Petelea got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Urdeş. 36 minutes into the match, Petelea's goalkeeper Cornel Hațegan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavian Bogdan. Claudiu Nacu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mugur Valerian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to rozator getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Octavian Bogdan hit a great ball. Silviu Slavici kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Gigi Moarcăș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Petelea's Cornel Hațegan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Gigi Papadache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornel Hațegan. Petelea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigi Papadache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Gigi Papadache took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Hațegan. Cornel Hațegan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Cornel Hațegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Orădan in the 57th minute of play. Cornel Hațegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Orădan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silviu Slavici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Valerian having to interfere. Gigi Papadache took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Hațegan. Cornel Hațegan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Gigi Moarcăș charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gigi Moarcăș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gigi Moarcăș hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Mugur Valerian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silviu Slavici in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Gigi Papadache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornel Hațegan was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Gigi Papadache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Octavian Bogdan came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the rozator fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavian Bogdan couldn't finish the play. Cornel Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Bogdan in the 83rd minute of the match. Petelea's Cornel Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Moarcăș in the 84th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Narcis Orădan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the rozator and the Petelea players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Petelea booed when rozator was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Orădan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Octavian Bogdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petelea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
