Vlad Baldazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Mihaiu having to interfere. If Petre Lucescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gavril Hulubei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Encica, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Botgros in the 64th minute of play forced SR Brasov's goalkeeper Gavril Hulubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ştefan Gaiță took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavril Hulubei. Gavril Hulubei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 94 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Buhuș. If Codrin Penaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
