Cazimir Brânza's late challenge caught a Diosti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 90th minute of the match, Gigi Marina got a very nice opportunity to score, but Doru Mihaiu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Diosti getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gigi Marina hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Diosti had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
