The supporters of FC.Bombers booed when FCSB CLUJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Şantău didn't get a good kick on the ball. FCSB CLUJ's Nicodim Şantău got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, FCSB CLUJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Senin to maneuver through the defense. Marin Simionică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marin Simionică came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC.Bombers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marin Simionică couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Balint got free with Calistrat Cârneci in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albert Bârsan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Șeitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FCSB CLUJ's Nicodim Şantău in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marin Simionică made a kick off. Adam Balint's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calistrat Cârneci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Octavian Morar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When FCSB CLUJ's Nicodim Şantău in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC.Bombers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Șeitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Nicodim Şantău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Albert Bârsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, FCSB CLUJ's Nicodim Şantău sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Bârsan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC.Bombers's Adam Balint got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nicodim Şantău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Dabija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Adam Balint had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calistrat Cârneci. FCSB CLUJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Balint was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Despite being the better team, FCSB CLUJ failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
