FC Vointa's Petre Drăgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Dumitrana in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Vointa's Horia Pascu got a free kick in the 9th minute. Petre Drăgan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Felix Moldoveanu. Petre Drăgan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rareș Panțâru in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, FC Vointa's goalkeeper Petre Drăgan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rareș Panțâru. Maxim Moldovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ciprian Gugea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Moldovan in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciprian Gugea saved Charly from getting behind. Petre Drăgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Cojan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th match minute, Charly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Ciomag to maneuver through the defense. Silviu Pătrășconiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Gugea having to interfere. Calistrat Dudău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ciprian Gugea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Vointa booed when Charly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Ciungu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Rareș Panțâru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

The wind increased when Maxim Moldovan made the kick off in the second half. Gheorghe Dumitrana hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Maxim Moldovan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Petre Drăgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Panțâru in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Vointa defense, Ioan Cojan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petre Drăgan. The FC Vointa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petre Drăgan should have stopped the shot. After having played for 74 minutes, Rareș Panțâru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Panțâru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, FC Vointa's Maxim Moldovan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciprian Gugea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After 84 minutes, Calistrat Dudău mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Vointa and the Charly players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, FC Vointa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Dudău to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Rareș Panțâru made a precise shot to the right of Petre Drăgan. FC Vointa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After having played for 97 minutes, Calistrat Dudău managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vointa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calistrat Dudău was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charly's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
