Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maxim Spiridon started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Deportivo Calarasi defense, Robert Oțeteleșanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucrețiu Puric. The Deportivo Calarasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucrețiu Puric should have stopped the shot. Dumitru Frâncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Butuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dumitru Frâncu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Dragalina in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Ghiurche CSS's Robert Oțeteleșanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucrețiu Puric narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucrețiu Puric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Spiridon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Oțeteleșanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucrețiu Puric. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Oțeteleșanu ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Deportivo Calarasi's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Spiridon came free, but Lucrețiu Puric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Robert Oțeteleșanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Calarasi's Lucrețiu Puric was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Maxim Spiridon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucrețiu Puric. Deportivo Calarasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Spiridon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Codruț Gherase during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Ghiurche CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Gherase to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes Deportivo Calarasi got a freekick which was hit by Toader Cămărășan. Dacian Contra kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Deportivo Calarasi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ghiurche CSS were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Butuc to strike the kick off in the second half. When Dacian Contra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. Dacian Contra kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Robert Oțeteleșanu came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucrețiu Puric could save by the left post. In the 59th minute, Codruț Gherase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Toader Cămărășan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Oțeteleșanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucrețiu Puric. That made the score 0-4 in the 67 minute of play. Maxim Spiridon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Maxim Spiridon came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ghiurche CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Spiridon couldn't finish the play. Robert Oțeteleșanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lucrețiu Puric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Oțeteleșanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Puric having to interfere. With a little luck, Deportivo Calarasi's Lucrețiu Puric got control of the ball when Robert Oțeteleșanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 93rd minute of the match Codruț Gherase completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Codruț Gherase a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Ghiurche CSS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Codruț Gherase hit a great ball.
