Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 50) Oltenasii's Cazimir Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Buzilă in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Oltenasii's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Orescu came free, but Cazimir Gheară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Oltenasii getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Gică Teleagă hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Bâru in the 19th minute of play forced Oltenasii's goalkeeper Cazimir Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gică Teleagă struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Codrin Vişoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oltenasii. 24 minutes into the match, Oltenasii's Ivan Dică sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Codrin Vişoiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivan Dică's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Codrin Vişoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Cazimir Gheară showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Bâru in the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Marcusi FCM booed when Oltenasii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Nasta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niculae Orescu in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cazimir Gheară prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Marcusi FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Orădan came free, but Codrin Vişoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ivan Dică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Dică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Vişoiu having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niculae Orescu to make the kick off. Horaţiu Buzilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Gheară having to interfere. Ivan Dică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Marcusi FCM's David Cristescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cazimir Gheară made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Marcusi FCM's zone, Mihai Orădan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Vişoiu came out of the goal and Mihai Orădan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Bâru charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Bâru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Marcusi FCM got a freekick which was hit by Robert Bâru. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Cazimir Gheară successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Liviu Hrib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Codrin Vişoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Horaţiu Buzilă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marcusi FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Horaţiu Buzilă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Gheară breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Oltenasii's Cazimir Gheară got control of the ball when Horaţiu Buzilă tried to sneak it across the goal line.
