Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Niculae Orescu kicked off to start the match. Marcusi FCM's Niculae Orescu got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Deportivo Calarasi's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Orescu came free, but Lucrețiu Puric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Marcusi FCM defense, Marcu Dragalina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codrin Vişoiu. The Marcusi FCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codrin Vişoiu should have stopped the shot. Gelu Bîlbă charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gelu Bîlbă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo Calarasi getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. The audience was convinced that Emil Butuc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Vişoiu was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Horaţiu Buzilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Puric having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Emil Butuc made the kick off in the second half. Niculae Orescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucrețiu Puric read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Emil Butuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Codrin Vişoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcu Dragalina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Buzilă got free with Lucrețiu Puric in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Deportivo Calarasi's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Orescu came free, but Lucrețiu Puric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Deportivo Calarasi's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Puric had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Buzilă. If Horaţiu Buzilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Emil Butuc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Vişoiu was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After having played for 96 minutes, Marcu Dragalina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Calarasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcu Dragalina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
