In the 17th minute Niculae Orescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Drăgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes, Marcusi FCM's Iosif Tremurici shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petre Drăgan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marcusi FCM reached it. After 24 played minutes FC Vointa got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Dudău. Calistrat Dudău hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, FC Vointa's goalkeeper Petre Drăgan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Buzilă. FC Vointa's Petre Drăgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Vointa from getting a goal against them. If Niculae Orescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes, Calistrat Dudău mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Vointa and the Marcusi FCM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Calistrat Dudău kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Maxim Moldovan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Vointa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Moldovan couldn't finish the play. Maxim Moldovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Marcusi FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Tremurici to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Moldovan in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Vişoiu saved Marcusi FCM from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niculae Orescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Vointa getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Calistrat Dudău hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Marcusi FCM's Robert Bâru got a free kick in the 60th minute. FC Vointa's Petre Drăgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Buzilă in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxim Moldovan got free with Codrin Vişoiu in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calistrat Dudău might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Codrin Vişoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calistrat Dudău ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute Niculae Orescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Drăgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxim Moldovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Vişoiu having to interfere. Maxim Moldovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Vointa getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Calistrat Dudău hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxim Moldovan got free with Codrin Vişoiu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, FC Vointa's Calistrat Dudău sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Codrin Vişoiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Codrin Vişoiu made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Maxim Moldovan sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Maxim Moldovan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Marcusi FCM's Codrin Vişoiu. Codrin Vişoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Petre Drăgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Buzilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Codrin Vişoiu made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Maxim Moldovan sent off a good shot on target. Maxim Moldovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Vişoiu having to interfere. FC Vointa were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
