Iordache Otețea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mihail Mincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiberiu Iorgovan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihail Mincă having to make a save. Octavian Scorţea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Mincă having to interfere. When Cornel Scorţea fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Davidestii's protests and gave Cornel Scorţea a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Diculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, UFC Claudesti's Iordache Otețea got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florin Petculescu to strike the kick off in the second half. UFC Claudesti's Andrei Ipătescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Petculescu in the 75th minute of play. Liviu Voiculescu's late challenge caught a Davidestii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liviu Voiculescu helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot by Tiberiu Barbăneagră from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Andrei Ipătescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Florin Petculescu had several of the UFC Claudesti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Andrei Ipătescu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Octavian Scorţea hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
