Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stelian Schiau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 8 minutes, Daniel Bălășescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Cojasca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Bălășescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costin Avarvarei kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ernest Agârbiceanu came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Cojasca's Daniel Bălășescu. But to his dismay, Daniel Bălășescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Toader Antim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Daniel Bălășescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Cojasca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Bălășescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Stelian Schiau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vali Pârcălab fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tomnatec's protests and gave Vali Pârcălab a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fc Cojasca booed when Tomnatec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Pârcălab didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Daniel Bălășescu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Fc Cojasca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Bălășescu couldn't finish the play. Tomnatec's Ernest Agârbiceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Bălășescu in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tomnatec's Vali Pârcălab got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ernest Agârbiceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bălășescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosmin Nisipeanu charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosmin Nisipeanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosmin Nisipeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Nistor Dumitrache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Codruț Dănășel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Dacian Şchiopu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomnatec's supporters rose to their feet, but Dacian Şchiopu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codruț Dănășel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Dacian Şchiopu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codruț Dănășel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 46 minutes into the game, Stelian Schiau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Cojasca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tomnatec the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Fc Cojasca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Schiau to maneuver through the defense. Codruț Dănășel was out of position in the 49 minute of play, and Nistor Dumitrache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nistor Dumitrache really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nistor Dumitrache made a kick off. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tomnatec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Costin Avarvarei was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc Cojasca's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fc Cojasca's Costin Avarvarei to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernest Agârbiceanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dacian Şchiopu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Daniel Bălășescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Cojasca's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Bălășescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Daniel Bălășescu took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ernest Agârbiceanu to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Bălășescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Agârbiceanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Bălășescu ran back to his position shaking his head. If Daniel Bălășescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Stelian Schiau made a precise shot to the right of Ernest Agârbiceanu. Tomnatec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Daniel Bălășescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Agârbiceanu having to interfere. Lucian Miulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Ion Mazilu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fc Cojasca's Codruț Dănășel didn't even have to move. Dacian Şchiopu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernest Agârbiceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stelian Schiau went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score.
