Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 100) Costică Voica started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cătălin Crăcană made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Cândea in the 4th minute of play. Gică Cândea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cătălin Crăcană having to make a save. Gică Cândea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Crăcană having to interfere. SUPER OTELUL's Cătălin Crăcană played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Uduleanu in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Blue Jays V55's goalkeeper Eusebiu Răzvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Iovulescu. Cătălin Crăcană took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Cândea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ferdinand Buzincu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SUPER OTELUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Buzincu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Răzvan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blue Jays V55's Eusebiu Răzvan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Jays V55 from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes Blue Jays V55 got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Mareș. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Blue Jays V55's Gică Cândea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cătălin Crăcană. That made the score 0-1 after 56 minutes of play. In the 60th minute, Petru Uduleanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cătălin Crăcană. The goal made the score 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichifor Iovulescu in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusebiu Răzvan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gică Cândea's late challenge caught a SUPER OTELUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gică Cândea helped the player get up and apologised. Cătălin Crăcană made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Cândea in the 72nd minute of play. Nichifor Iovulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eusebiu Răzvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, SUPER OTELUL's Nichifor Iovulescu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebiu Răzvan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costică Voica in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusebiu Răzvan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute SUPER OTELUL were awarded a corner. Francisc Ţiriac went to the cornerflag to take it. Francisc Ţiriac made a great header on SUPER OTELUL's corner, it was just that Blue Jays V55's Eusebiu Răzvan managed to reach the ball for a save. Costică Voica's late challenge caught a Blue Jays V55's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in SUPER OTELUL's zone, Petru Uduleanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Crăcană came out of the goal and Petru Uduleanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute, Cristinel Nițisor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Blue Jays V55's Adam Iorgulescu in action when he in the 99th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
