Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristi Busuioc kicked off to start the match. Costică Mârza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nistor Dumitrache showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. A collision led to Tomnatec getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Valentin Isăilă hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tomnatec's zone, Cristi Busuioc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Agârbiceanu came out of the goal and Cristi Busuioc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vali Pârcălab charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vali Pârcălab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vali Pârcălab hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Adam Diaconescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernest Agârbiceanu having to make a save. The supporters of CSU LOVE booed when Tomnatec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Pârcălab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Petriceanu, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristi Busuioc in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernest Agârbiceanu saved Tomnatec from getting behind. Ernest Agârbiceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Busuioc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Rogozea kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Nistor Dumitrache made the kick off in the second half. Cristi Busuioc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristi Busuioc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ernest Agârbiceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Diaconescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Agârbiceanu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristi Busuioc in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Agârbiceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Tomnatec's Ion Mazilu got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tomnatec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciprian Petriceanu was slow to take the kick. During this time CSU LOVE's players had a chance to rest. Maxim Hoisie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ernest Agârbiceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Sandu Băbescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSU LOVE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tomnatec the free kick. Nistor Dumitrache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Costică Mârza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Dacian Şchiopu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Mârza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristi Busuioc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes, CSU LOVE's Ciprian Petriceanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernest Agârbiceanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CSU LOVE reached it. Costică Mârza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Dumitrache, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Many of CSU LOVE's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. CSU LOVE may have spent more time on the ball, but Tomnatec were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
